Letter 26: My Grades Again

Dear Tim,

I am interested about the birthday party you talked about. I really hope that I can enjoy a party like this someday.  To celebrate my birthday, my friends will buy me a cake and design some games to let me get the gifts they prepared. And they will have a dinner with me. We will have a happy time. But I haven't experienced a "real" party, I really want to try it.

I got the grades that my mom felt satisfactory in the midtern exam. Especially my math grade, this is the first time that I got higher than 50 since last semester. I hope that I can work harder next time and get better grades than this time. I believe I can do better!

Sincerely,
Candy

  1. Dear Candy,
Congratulations on the midterm grades! Has our "study method" of studying every class, every day after school been helping? Has your mother been a lot less stressed now that your grades have improved?
Maybe it rains too much in Taipei to plan on parties in the park. If you read the article carefully, having a party in the park is actually easier that having one at home. Of course, in Taipei, you have to have a place in the park to go in case it rains. It might not be a good idea during the summer typhoon season.

    Tim
