Though it was too late, but I still wanted to say " Happy Birthday!" and " Happy teacher's day" to you. Thank you for your company for the past two years. I really learned many things from your Newsletters! And so patient of you to response our letters, even though we had so many grammar mistakes. I have to study hard to prepare the big exam in next year, so I cannot write the letters. But if I have free time in the future, I will still keep reading your Newsletters. Have a nice semester!

Letter 23:The Last Yearly Presentation
Dear Tim,
This is my last time to write the letter in this semester. Today, I want to talk about our EHP Yearly Presentation. We had prepared this for more than two months, and now we finally finished it perfectly.
Our title was " Untold Truths", and we played the drama " The Flying Doctor". It was a funny story. I really thanked to Aubrey, Hugo,and William, because they created a character " Miffy" for me. Miffy was a poor maid who was always called by the host. And when she brought a cup of tea out, people would say no! They always asked Miffy to do pointless work. The whole class did very good that day. We all showed our best to our friends, teachers, parents,and all the audiance!
We really hope that we can do it next year again, but it is difficult. Because we are the last year of EHP...

Letter 22
Dear Tim,
I have to answer your three questions.
2. If a dog commits a " serious" bite, he could even be taken away and killed.
7. Because unfortunately, the first game that our boys faced had three players on it from the school boys volleyball team. And also since we just only have six boys, there were no reserves for substitutions.
8. Because there were more girls to choose to devote in the volleyball game.
Finally, we finished our whole competition. I am proud to tell that we got the fifth place! In fact, before we decided to attend this game, we all thought that we were going to have fun only. We couldn't believe that we would get the prize. Last Monday was our last day to have the game. That day, we all felt especially happy with no reason. So I want to tell you an interesting thing. At the beginning of the game, we lost five points. Fortunately, we were into the situation immediately. Then, Angela kicked the ball out of the field since she didn't have enough time to catch the ball by hands! Everyone laughed out loudly, and we kept our good mood until the game was over. Now, we are all addicted to play volleyball, therefore, we decide that we will still arrive at school at seven o'clock every Tuesday and Friday.

Letter 21: Tiring
Dearr Tim,
First, I want to answer your three questions.
1. Many American women would make colthing for the families from old flour sacks because their prized possessions were sewing machines.
6. The flour bags in Taiwan used to make clothing for boys, but not for girls because the fabric was considered to be rough ffor girls.

Letter 20: We Won the First Game!
Dear Tim,
We will take our class trips in the end of June. I really expect for it.
It was pity that the boys lost their first competition. The game will finish when there are two wins in three games. And unfortunately, they lost the first and second rounds of this game. Therefore, the game ended early. It was lucky that the girls won the first competition. In Tuesday noon, we had thirty minutes to practice. However, I couldn't get the ball to the other side of the net for three times. I became pressured and scared of that I couldn't serve well in the conpetition. And my hand was really hurt ( I will show you the picture of my hand). So I cried... I really thanked to my classmates. They comforted and encouraged me, helping me to find my confidence again. Fortunately, I did well in the afternoon. We lost the first round, but we didn't feel dejected. We asked to stop in the second round and encouraged each other in a circle. And the most important point was that we laughed even we had a mistake. We felt happy when we playing volleyball. This atmosphere made us become better. So we won the game finally. Next Wednesday, we are going to have another competition. I hope everything can be alright.
It will be three days a week after school until the end of May. Though we felt tired, we had a lot of fun when we did our work.

Letter 19: I Feel Nervous!
Dear Tim,
We have two teams, a boy team and a girl team. Except Aubrey, Sherry, Doris, and Amy, other classmates are in the teams. The first grade have basketball game, and the second grade have volleyball game. If next Tuesday is not a rainy day, our girl team will face the first competition. We are going to have the competition with Art class. And fortunately, last Wednesday morning, we met the Art class when we were practicing volleyball. Therefore, we observed them to find their features. In fact, I feel very nervous about this competiton. Though we all know that the most important thing is have a happy time when we are playing it, I still afraid that I will not play very well and make our team lose the game...
We chose the story " The Flying Doctor" to be our yearly presentation's script. It is only a forty minutes performance, but we still need a lot of time to practice it and try our best to make the audience understand the story and feel funny. Therefore, we will stay at school to night p.m. on every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. We have many things need to prepare, I hope that we have enough time to do all the things.

Letter 18: A Busy Month
Dear Tim,
Our class will have a busy month in April. First, we are going to have a volleyball game in 16~20 April. Second, we "really" start to prepare our yearly presentation. But before saying about these, I would like to tell you something made me happy.
Last Tuesday, I had a speech in our English speech class. This time, I did my best to prepare. Though I still couldn't remember my whole speech, I did better than before. I didn't feel very nervous like I did before. I hope that I can do better and better in the future.
Next week, some of us have to arrive school at seven o'clock in order to practice volleyball. I am not really good at playing volleyball, but I will do my best to help my team playing it.
For our yearly presentation, we finally found a script! Melody, Cathy, and I are planning other steps. We hope everything can be in control.

Letter 17: Badminton Game
Dear Tim,
Last week, we had badminton game in our school everyday. Though my class didn't attend the game, Melody and I still went there to watch the competitive contest. In fact, we didn't really understand the rules of the badminton contest... But when we were watching, we felt excited, too. We saw some of our previous classmates, such as, Tiffany, Nini, and Ericson. They were good at playing badminton, and helped their own classes very much. In April, we have to attend volleyball contest. Uh... in fact, I don't really expect for that, because our class can't play volleyball as good as basketball. But I hope we can do our best to enjoy it.
We are going to have big exam again. I want to have good grades this time, since I didn't do well in last semester. Therefore, I have to study harder than before. But I think it is a little bit difficult, because I am easy to think many things when I am studying. I hope I can refrain myself from being affected!

Letter 16: Busy Life
Dear Tim,
I had read the article that you wrote about 228 incident. In fact, I'm not very clear about this incident, since I only learn it from our history textbooks. Therefore, we don't know the detail about this.
My grandparents live in town in Yilan. It is very convenient for us to buy something, because there is a department store next to our home. I had a great big meal with my big family. But we didn't go out during the Lunor New Year.
Now, we become busy again! Many exams and homework are waiting for us everyday. I feel very tired. Every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, some of us will practice singing after school in order to prepare our yearly presentation. I really want to return to my elementary school life. I did't need to worry about anything. I could play happily with my friends! I only needed to study harder than others, then I could get a good score. When I was a child, I hoped that I could grow up quickly. I wanted to do something that children couldn't do. For example, going to karaoke with friends, going shopping without my parents, falling in love with somebody, and so on. But I only want to be a child now. It is too tired to grow up. Did you ever have the thought to go back to your childhood before?

Letter 15: My Winter Vacation
Dear Tim,
It's a new semester again! I think that I am ready to face all the challeges in this semester, because we have our yearly presentation and need to prepare many things. It will be a very busy but maybe happy semester.
I had a boring winter vacation. I kept studying, playing the piano, and singing everyday. If I have to say something special, I will think of my second day of the vacation. That day, I went to karaoke with my friend. We chose a small box and sang for six hours. Both of us love singing, so we chose many songs. However, she chose a song that I didn't like or even hated it! There were many cockroaches in the music video of this song. And those cockroaches climbed all over the ground and even climbed onto the actress in the video! Everytime my friends chose this song, I would go out since I couldn't bear it. This time, I did it again. When the song started, I went out the box and get some delicious food. But when I went back, my friend was still singing. Therefore, I went to the bathroom. I thought that I had gone out for a long time, so I went back. And to my surprised, she hadn't finished the song! Then I cut the song. But I told my friend that the important reason I did this was because the music was too high and she sang too bad. I was glad that she didn't be angry at me. It might be crazy for only two girls to sing for six hours, but in fact, we didn't finished all the songs that we had chosen. Maybe we will go to karaoke in our summer vacation. During the Lunor New Year, I went to my grandparents' house in Yilan and lived there for three days. I had a great time with my dear grandparents.

Letter 14: Dream
Dear Tim,
Friday, Melody and I went to a cinema to watch the movie, Pitch Perfect 3, after school. I really love this movie. And I also feel excited because there are two handsome men in the movie! I enjoy every songs in Pitch Perfect 1.2.3. Though the story is a little bit funny, I also feel touched. I saw a hard relationship between those girls, even they graduated from college, they still care about each other.
Recently, we start to prepaare our Yearly Presentation! Some of us are searching for some musical that we are able to sing. I love " The Phantom of The Opera", but it is too dificult. Allison and I want to act " Mamma Mia." There are a lot of good musicals, however, I really don't know what I can sing in fact. I relish acting, but I am not a confident person. Actually, I have had a dream since few years ago. I want to be an actress! I didn't tell many people something about this. I don't know why I like to act before everyone, it is different from a normal speech or a homework presentation. I will be afraid of giving a speech, but I can be brave to play in every roles. I always think that my dream will never come true. I don't know whether my parents support me after they hearing about my dream. I have no idea about this, should I give up or try my best to achieve it ?
